Ron Oliver, Director of Africa Huntig Safaris, Inc. lived in Africa for more than 15 years and is a dedicated hunter himself. Ron's continual travel throughout the region each year and his personal knowledge of the safari industry allows him a special insight to the hunting community. 

While assigned to the American Embassy in Zimbabwe for six years. Ron was instrumental in assisting National Parks with the legalization of bowhunting in Zimbabwe.  To introduce the U.S. bowhunting community to Zimbabwe, Ron arranged hunts for such well known hunters as Chuck Adams and Pete Shepley.  Ron Oliver served as the first chairman of the Bowhunters Association of Zimbabwe, a position he held for two years.  Ron continues to work with National Parks of Zimbabwe in promoting bowhunting in the country.  Ron's personal knowledge of the safari community in Africa allows him a special insight to the very best hunting operations in the continent.  To insure the continued quality of each operation, Ron returns during the hunting season and visits the operations that he exlusively books for.
